I love and use my Mac and Windows setups to death, but maybe it’s time for a three-platform world. Desktop Linux is slowly gaining ground, and it’s particularly strong in the area of music software. There’s a new Linux music blog, and I like the title:
Highlights:
- ALSA Modular Synth, pictured, for getting your synthesis on
- How-to set up a free LADSPA vocoder
- Interview with an Ardour developer; Ardour is the high-end open source Linux DAW
- Finally, a solution for musical package management on SUSE, from what I can see
DCZX, do let us know who you are. Via forums.
I've found that modular synth on screenshot interesting and downloaded it. ALSA Modular Synth really rocks! Check it out and you won't sorry.
